Our Genesis
From a foundational idea to a force of change.
October 2024
The University Laboratory ICT Club (ULIC) was born from a vision to create a hub for tech enthusiasts. Founded as one of the nine founding clubs of University Laboratory School and College, we were driven by a passion for digital creation and problem-solving.
January 2025
Our commitment to collaboration and structure led us to a pivotal moment. ULIC took the initiative to establish the United Club Association (UCA), an organization designed to manage and unify all clubs within the institution, positioning ULIC as a leader in governance and innovation.
Feb — April 2025
A period of intense incubation and refinement. We dedicated these months to polishing our internal structures and experimenting with various prototypes. This phase was crucial for brainstorming ideas that would later define the betterment of both the club and the association.
May 2025
ULIC officially took on the ambitious project of developing a comprehensive Web App. This marked the transition from planning to execution, setting the stage for a digital transformation of club management.
July 2025
We extended our technical expertise to the wider community, providing critical website support to the Photography Club (ULPC) and Language Club (ULLC) for their landmark event, "Frame of Revolution: Bangladesh 2.0".
August 2025
A major milestone achieved: The official release of the ULIC Web App. This platform revolutionized how our members interact, manage projects, and access resources.
Sept — Oct 2025
Launch of the Season System. This innovative framework was introduced to encourage continuous learning, gamify participation, and foster a culture of sharing tech brilliance among members.
December 2025
Looking ahead to the mobile frontier, we initiated the project for the launch of our dedicated Mobile App(s), aiming to bring the ULIC experience to everyone's pocket.
